Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant commonly found in wines including the well-known resveratrol. These healthy compounds affect the taste, color, and aromatic profile of wines and are created during the maceration stage of winemaking.
Our natural wines are all dry-farmed which is a specific farming practice used to increase mineral extraction from the soil. After all, if a vine needs to reach 30 or more feet deep into the soil to find water, it will extract more of the beneficial content of the soil. By comparison, vines with irrigation grow about 3 feet into the soil.
Since we source only the cleanest natural wines in the world, both our red and white wines offer higher levels of polyphenols than conventional wines. However, if you only want the highest polyphenol levels, then I recommend any of our red wines.
